My journey into the Senior industry began in 2010 with my own mom. I flew home to Idaho to help my family care for her after a terminal diagnosis. What started out as helping my mom through the last chapter of her life turned into a passion for helping seniors and their families.

As I cared for my mom during those last weeks, I kept thinking to myself there had to be a better way to spend time with a loved one when the time with them was so short. I wanted to help husbands, wives, sons, and daughters be there for their loved one as a family and not the primary caregiver. I found the answer when I took a position in a senior community.

I have experience in a community setting as the Director of Marketing for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. This gives me a unique and valuable perspective when it comes to placing a loved one in a community setting or in an adult care home.

I am a Certified Placement Referral Specialist which requires me to pass an exam, a background check, continuing education and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of older adults. My goal is to serve you, your loved ones, and our community by being a trusted advisor to help navigate you through the many challenges and choices of finding a senior living community or other resources.

My husband Graham and I have three daughters and one granddaughter. Our eldest daughter lives on the Oregon Coast, our middle daughter lives in Texas, and our youngest daughter lives in Arizona. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and traveling. My favorite so far has been Ireland. I also love to read, scrapbook and take long drives to find out of the way places to take photographs.

We cover Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties. Sarah is the Vice-President of Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association and involved with SAGE, ACMA, MSN, SPIN, and OGA.
